Shipping Policy

At Perlugap, we keep shipping clear and dependable. Because most of our furniture is solid wood and made by hand, every order is packed with added protection and routed through carriers experienced with bulky, fragile items. From checkout to delivery, our promise is simple: transparent pricing, realistic timelines, and careful handling.
Where We Ship
We currently deliver to the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal. We’re unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or certain remote territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and select outlying island regions in Europe and Australia). A residential or business street address is required so solid-wood pieces receive the correct service level.
Carriers We Use
We choose the service based on destination, size/weight, and network availability. Common options include UPS (Ground, 3 Day Select, Worldwide), FedEx (Ground, Home Delivery, International), USPS for select small parcels within the U.S., and DHL Express for international parcels.
Shipping Costs (USD)
Simple regional flat rates apply, with free shipping above a posted threshold. The exact amount appears at checkout before payment—no surprise delivery fees afterward.
- United States: $30 flat rate, free from $800.
- Europe & United Kingdom: $50 flat rate, free from $900.
- Canada & Australia: $55 flat rate, free from $1,000.
Taxes and Duties
What you see at checkout—product price plus any flat shipping fee—is all you pay to Perlugap. For international orders, Perlugap covers import duties, VAT, and customs clearance charges, so couriers should not collect additional payment upon delivery.
Processing and Delivery Times
Orders generally move to final inspection and packing within 1–2 business days, Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays. Orders placed before 2:00 PM CST typically begin processing the same business day; orders placed after that time start the next business day.
Estimated transit times after dispatch:
- United States: ~5–6 business days.
- Europe & United Kingdom (FR/DE/ES/IT/BE/PT): ~6–8 business days.
- Canada & Australia: ~7–10 business days.
International shipments may require extra time for customs procedures.
Furniture Shipping and Assembly
Solid-wood furniture can be heavy or oversized. To protect the work and make handling easier, many items ship partially disassembled. Every shipment includes an illustrated step-by-step guide, and most include basic tools. Most customers complete assembly in about 20–30 minutes. Prefer help? We can suggest third-party assembly providers in major cities across the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Australia. (Service fees are separate from standard shipping.)
Tracking Your Order
When your order departs our workshop and showroom at 2409 Shotgun S, Abilene, TX 79603, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and a direct link to the carrier’s page. Tracking can take 24–72 hours to refresh, especially for international routes awaiting customs scans.
If Something Goes Wrong
Damage on arrival: Please contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos or a short video of the packaging and the affected areas. We’ll review and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Lost in transit: If tracking shows no movement for 7+ days, or if your package hasn’t arrived within 14 business days of dispatch, let us know. We’ll investigate with the carrier and, if confirmed lost, send a replacement at no additional cost or issue a full refund.
Order Changes and Cancellations
You may cancel an order that has not yet entered processing or shipped—please notify us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of purchase. Once an order is processed and handed to the carrier, cancellation isn’t available. After delivery, you can use our Return & Refund Policy. For international orders, cancellation is not available once the shipment has cleared customs.
